Cookie Policy
We use physics, not cookies. But the law requires this page anyway.
Last updated: January 2025 | Effective: January 2025
The 10-Second Version
What we use: Minimal cookies to keep the site working
What we DON'T use: Tracking pixels, ad networks, creepy surveillance
Your control: Block them all if you want - site still works
Bottom line: We track success through client results, not website cookies
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files websites place on your device. Like breadcrumbs in a forest, they help websites remember where you've been.
Some cookies are helpful (remembering you're logged in). Others are creepy (tracking you across the internet). We only use the helpful kind.
Our Philosophy
Transformation happens through expertise, not through tracking pixels. We measure success by your ROI, not your browsing patterns.
2. Cookies We Use
We keep it minimal. No advertising networks, no cross-site tracking, no selling your data to the highest bidder.
Total cookies: 4. Big Tech sites use 50-100+. We're not Big Tech.
3. Cookies We DON'T Use
Here's what you won't find on our site:
- Advertising cookies: No retargeting, no following you around the internet
 - Social media trackers: No Facebook pixels, no Twitter tags
 - Third-party analytics: No sharing your behavior with data brokers
 - Fingerprinting: No sneaky identification techniques
 - Supercookies: No permanent tracking mechanisms

Why so minimal? We're too busy transforming businesses to play surveillance capitalism. Your browsing habits are your business, not ours.
4. That Cookie Banner
You've seen it. We've all seen it. Here's what ours looks like:
One click and it's gone forever. No dark patterns, no "accept all or suffer" tactics.
Your Options:
- Accept: Site works perfectly, we remember your preferences
 - Ignore: Site still works, banner shows each visit
 - Block all cookies: Site still works, just less personalized

5. How to Control Cookies
Your browser, your rules. Here's how to take control:
Browser Settings
Every major browser lets you block cookies. Look for Settings > Privacy > Cookies.
🌐 Chrome
Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
🔥 Firefox
Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
🧭 Safari
Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and website data
🔷 Edge
Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies and site permissions
Specific Cookie Opt-Out
- Google Analytics: Install opt-out browser add-on
 - All cookies: Use private/incognito browsing mode

Note: Blocking all cookies might affect site functionality. But unlike some sites, we won't punish you for valuing privacy.
6. Legal Bit (Keep Lawyers Happy)
Under GDPR and PECR, we need lawful basis for cookies:
- Essential cookies: Legitimate interest (site won't work without them)
 - Analytics cookies: Your consent (via that banner)
 - Marketing cookies: We don't use any 🎉

You can withdraw consent anytime by clearing cookies or using browser settings.
7. Policy Updates
If we change our cookie use (unlikely - we're pretty minimal already), we'll:
- Update this page
 - Change the "last updated" date
 - Reset cookie consent so you can choose again

We won't sneak in new tracking. That's not the Twisthand way.
Cookie Questions?
Rather talk about transforming your business? Me too. But happy to discuss cookies if needed.

Let's discuss AI transformation instead. Much more interesting than cookies.
Fun Fact
The original Nottingham twisthands didn't need cookies to track their work. They could judge quality by touch alone.
We judge our success by your ROI, not your cookie trail. Old-school craftsmanship, modern results.
"We transform businesses with AI expertise,
                    not with tracking cookies.
                    Simple as that."
