Engagements

Engagements & pricing

Every engagement is fixed-fee and scoped before we start, so you know exactly what you're getting and what it costs. You're invoiced when you accept the work.

Acceptance guarantee

Our acceptance guarantee. If what we deliver doesn't meet the scope we agreed, tell us why within seven days. We'll have five working days to put it right. If it still doesn't meet the scope, you don't pay the fee.

Applies to the AI Adoption Audit, Proof Sprints and Discovery & Roadmap. A well-evidenced "no, don't build this" is a result we deliver, not a failure, and the guarantee covers the quality of that evidence too. Builds are invoiced half at the start and half on acceptance, with the guarantee applying to the acceptance half. Full terms in each statement of work and our terms of service.

Five ways in

Ways to work with us

  1. Workshops

    Who it's for
Teams who need to get hands-on with AI tools they already have.
    What you get

A half-day session built on your team's real tasks, not feature tours. Everyone leaves with a working prompt, Gem, Project or automation they'll use the next day.

Before the session, we check that everyone can repeat what they learn tomorrow, in their own approved work account: the right product, licence, permissions, connectors and data. If they can't, we tell you before the day, not after.

    Time
Half a day. Full-day and multi-session programmes on request.
    Price
From £1,500 for up to 20 people (Gemini, Copilot or Claude). Technical workshops (Claude Code, agents, automation) from £2,500.

  2. Proof Sprint

    Who it's for
Teams who know the workflow they want fixed.
    What you get

One workflow proven end to end, inside the tools you already use (Gemini Gems, NotebookLM, Claude Projects, Copilot), in four stages:

    1. Value: a recurring task worth doing differently, a named operational owner, and a baseline measured before anything changes.
    2. Feasibility: the data and access mapped, the decision-maker identified, and the approval prepared with the evidence they need. Go/no-go: if the answer is no, we stop here and you get the evidence for why.
    3. Reliability: a working process with test cases from your real work, agreed acceptance criteria and a fallback, so your team can tell when it's wrong, not just produce output.
    4. Sustained benefit: check-ins at 30 and 90 days on repeat use, quality against the criteria, checking effort, and where the freed-up time actually went.
    Time
Around three weeks, plus the two check-ins.
    Price
£3,500 fixed. If we stop at the go/no-go point with an evidenced no, the fee is £1,200.
  3. Discovery & Roadmap

    Who it's for
Leadership teams who want an organisation-wide view before committing budget.
    What you get
Stakeholder interviews across functions, observation of how work really happens, technical feasibility research, a prioritised roadmap, and a readout to your board or leadership team.
    Time
    Typically three to five weeks.
    Price
    From £15,000.
  4. Build

    Who it's for
Opportunities that need engineering: integrations, agents, reconciliation, extraction.
    What you get
A production system with acceptance tests, a fallback and a named owner, documentation, and handover. When your tools, prompts or data change, it gets re-tested. You own what we build.
    Time
    Scoped per build.
    Price
Typically £7,500 – £45,000, fixed in its own statement of work after a short feasibility gate.

Choosing a starting point

Where are you stuck?

  • You have the tools but no clear tasks for them Start with the AI Adoption Audit.
  • You have a valuable task, but no access or permission yet A Proof Sprint, starting with the approval.
  • You have something working, but the results aren't reliable A Proof Sprint or Build focused on testing and evaluation.
  • It works, but nobody uses it Workshops, plus ownership and follow-up built into the routine.
  • You need the whole organisation mapped before you invest Discovery & Roadmap.

Not sure? The first thing we'll ask on the call is: what specifically has to happen next for this task to be done differently?

Engagement structure

How engagements run

  1. A conversation first

Fifteen minutes, no slides, no pitch. You tell us where your team is and what's in the way.

  2. A fixed scope

We write down exactly what we'll deliver, by when, for what fee. Nothing starts until you've agreed it.

  3. Work with your people, in your tools

We work alongside the people who own the work, inside your systems and your data governance, not around them.

  4. You accept, then you're invoiced

Payment follows acceptance of the deliverables.

Typical situations

What this looks like in practice

Rolling out AI tools to your team

You've invested in AI tools but your team isn't using them effectively. We design and deliver hands-on Workshops and Proof Sprints that go beyond software features, building genuine confidence and practical skills so adoption actually happens. We help your people understand not just how to use the tools, but when, why, and how to get real value.

AI investment isn't delivering

You've spent on AI but adoption is stalling. Teams are hesitant. The return isn't there. The AI Adoption Audit diagnoses what's blocking progress, whether it's training gaps, poor implementation, unclear processes or lack of strategic alignment, and gives you a ranked plan to unblock it.

Building internal AI training capability

You want to build AI capability into your L&D function. We work with your learning teams to develop curricula, frameworks, and internal expertise so you can train your people in the long term. This is about building sustainable capability, not a one-off training event.

Curriculum design for apprenticeship providers, universities and L&D teams is scoped individually. More on curriculum design →

Common questions

What people usually ask about fees

Do your prices include VAT?

All prices are in GBP. We aren't VAT-registered yet, so no VAT is charged. If that changes, VAT will be added at the standard rate and shown on your statement of work before you sign.

What about travel?

Travel within the East Midlands is included. Anything further afield is agreed in advance.

What does "acceptance" mean?

When you receive the deliverables you have seven days to tell us, in writing, if they don't meet the agreed scope. If you don't, they're accepted. If you do, we have five working days to put it right.

What happens after the Audit?

You get a ranked plan you can act on with or without us. If you commission Discovery or a Build within 60 days, the Audit fee is credited in full.

What if the answer is "don't build it"?

Then we tell you early, with the evidence, and the Proof Sprint stops at the smaller gate fee. A fast, well-founded no saves you a failed build, and we count it as a result.

What if an approval gets stuck on our side?

It happens a lot: most AI work stalls waiting for a decision, not because it's banned. We prepare the approval so it's easy to say yes to. If it's still pending after 10 working days, we hand over the approval pack and a status summary at the gate fee, and pick the rest up on a new date once it lands. The gate fee counts towards the full fee, so the total never goes up.

How do you report results?

Only what we can show. Freed-up staff time is reported as capacity, not savings, until spending actually falls, and we'll tell you which is which.

Do you offer day rates?

No. Every engagement is fixed-fee so you know the total cost before we start.

Who does the work?

Javan Green, the founder, on every engagement. No hand-off to juniors.

Find out which engagement fits.

Fifteen minutes, no slides, no pitch. Tell us where your team is and what's in the way, and we'll tell you honestly which engagement, if any, makes sense.
